Comera to Become Publicly Traded Via Combination with OTR Acquisition Corp. (NASDAQ: OTRA)

Comera Life Sciences, which is developing a new generation of innovative biologic medicines to improve patient access, safety and convenience, has entered a business combination agreement with OTR Acquisition, a publicly traded special purpose acquisition corporation (SPAC).

The transaction is designed to position Comera for growth by expanding in fast-growing global biologics market—estimated at $286 billion in 2020 and expected to grow to $422 billion in 20251. The combined company expects to have an implied initial equity value of about $258 million after closing, which is slated for Q2 2022.
